A pool heater operates similarly to the gas water heater that you have in your home. The unit could be placed in the yard or in a filter house near the pool. Temperature is adjustable by turning the control knob on the side of the heater. This controls the temperature of the water returning to the pool from the filter and heater equipment. The heater is installed in your water filtering line just after the filter unit. The natural gas is supplied from the same house lines that provide service to the natural gas appliances in your home.
