CheckFree e-Bill

Now you can view and pay your natural gas bill online with the click of a mouse. Offered in partnership with CheckFree Corporation, an industry leader in online billing and payment services, e-Bill lets you:

• View an electronic image of your paper bill, with links to important information about your account, safety, and conservation.
• Receive an e-mail each month when your gas bill is available instead of a paper bill in the mail.
• Select your preferred payment method, whether electronic or traditional.
• Schedule payment for an exact date, within guidelines.

How do I sign up?

• In Pennsylvania, enroll online at CheckFree’s Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania quick enrollment site.
• In Maryland, enroll online at CheckFree’s Columbia Gas of Maryland quick enrollment site.

With instant activation, you can view your most recent bill while you're online. There's no enrollment fee or waiting period for approvals. For your account protection, you'll be asked to choose a personal user ID and password.

CheckFree also offers an online payment service, which can be accessed through their website or through a link on your e-Bill. To use this online payment tool, you'll be asked to provide your Social Security number as well as information about your financial institution to authorize electronic payments from your checking account. Keep in mind that online payments made through CheckFree may take up to five business days to post.
