Finding a draft is easy.
If you suspect you have a draft, use your hands to test the area. Or, construct a simple "draft detector" by taping a piece of tissue paper to coat hanger. Hold the coat hanger in front of or over a suspected crack and watch for any movement.

Make your own "door draft stopper"
If you have a drafty door, making a "draft stopper" can be easy and fun.

  • Cut lightly woven fabric into strips a little longer than bottom of door.
  • Fold fabric in half lengthwise. Sew up side and one end to make a tube
  • Fill tube with sand and sew up open end.
  • Place stopper at the bottom of drafty doors.
