For more than 100 years, Columbia Gas has forged ahead to harness the energy of our future. Generations have grown up with the security and comfort of Columbia Gas. Our heritage traces a path of progress from 1885 to the present, and beyond. We lit the cobbled streets of the 1890s, fueled the steel making blast furnaces of the 1940s, and warmed the lives of the 1990s. And now we've developed the cutting edge technologies that will heat and cool the next generation to come. We always have made innovations the rule not the exception.
Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania and Columbia Gas of Maryland are part of NiSource Inc., the second largest natural gas distributor in the United States. Nearly 900 Columbia Gas employees comprise our growing network. We serve more than 410,000 customers and we're committed to satisfying each and every one.
